:::sighs::: OK, so last Friday was a tad bit busy/hectic for us at work. It would've helped PLENTY if I had my own work station, but of course I still don't have my own desk with a computer and telephone so I can easily answer calls and type-up orders without hassling anyone by using either their workstation computer or the main computer at the front counter.
I already asked my manager once since I started on when I'm getting my own desk, and it has been mentioned twice since I first inquired about it that they were working on adding a third work station so I wouldn't be hassling everyone by sneaking in on their computer the odd chances I get.
I'm being a trooper here, but sometimes I just feel so damn stressed out because I need to do shit ASAP but I couldn't do it coz I don't have a damn computer to process shit on! I know I've sent a few resumes -- again -- to other companies a few weeks back. In as much as I am enjoying this new position of mine, if this situation doesn't get fixed soon, then I fear I'll have no choice but to look for another job that wouldn't be stressing me out as well as my co-workers 'coz I kept on invading their space per se.

How odd to make you do that... have they mentioned what the hold-up is? Do they not have enough room, enough equipment, etc.???
That is a sucky deal, I don't blame you at all for sending some resumes out. If they can't produce the means to allow you to do the job they hired you for efficiently and in a timely manner then maybe they shouldn't have hired on as many people as they did. Good luck with everything though and I it all works out (whatever the outcome).

@MEluvCH - I have no idea. When I was hired they just finished renovating the store. And from what I heard, somebody else was hired (a third person) before me, but she didn't last long. I dunno why they didn't think of adding a third station for a possible third CSR! lol
@Color_me_Karma - Thanks. I'm still waiting to hear back from the other companies I applied at. I'm still going to be sending resumes out probably this weekend and see how that goes.

that would drive me crazy. Hope the remedy the problem soon.
